I don't think Eureka ever made a Roto-Matic canister with a power nozzle. You may be getting a bit confused - Eureka had the corporate rights to the name "Roto-Matic" and they re-used it over ten years after their last Roto-Matic canister was produced. The first Eureka power nozzles themselves were called Roto Matic Power Nozzles, but these made their debut in the early 1970's and were never actually sold with round 1950's Eureka canisters. The first Eureka Roto-Matic Power Nozzles were sold with an updated version of what the ads called their "Sweet Sixteen" canister line - models in the 1600 range, in harvest golds and burnt orange colours. There was also one Empress II that was married to a Roto-Matic Power Nozzle in the first year Eureka made these "Power Teams" as they called them. Eureka has recycled copyrighted corporate names like this many a time: "Quick-Up", "Whisk", "Roto-Matic", "The Boss", "SmartVac", "Whirlwind", "Tool-Pak", "Cordaway", etc. Glad you liked the idea for a "Guess the Model Number" contest!
