My grandparents just got this VERY, VERY, nice hoover from ebay. I can't stop telling you how much I love this. It picked up so much dirt in one run around the house, the bag is like one forth full. But anyway, they'd like a hose for the vacuum. So, my question is, did the vacuum come with a plate that you put under the vacuum to use a hose? If it did, where could I find one. My grandparents would be willing to buy one from anyone here. Also, would anyone have a digital copy of the owners manual that I could download? Please email me if you happen to have a plate or a digital copy of the owners manual.

Yes, there is an adapter for the hose that attaches right below the beater bar like the old Eureka's had. I think they used a similar setup on the Concepts too.

the attachment kits pop up on ebay every so often, just be sure to get the U4901 cleaning kit, it is the front conversion which you need, dont get the 1031 cleaning kit, it is rear conversion for the older metal based cleaners

You get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. The English language is funny, you know you can say things in a way that does not sound arrogant. I don't think you are mean, however I do find you to be arrogant in my opinion. You have made quotes like this in your other posts too. Patience is the key. If you ask you will get your answer.... (not trying to be mean)

Thanks very much for your understanding, as I was unsure if you knew how it sounded.
