The dirtdevil web site has no vacuums for sale and their part web site is down. the hoover website is unavailable. Are we free from TTI?

No, I don't think it is, but both Hoover's and Dirtdevil's site is down.

Yes, better to have TTI die now then to drag Hoover's name "through the dirt...." I really hope this IS the case. As for Royal, well, even their aluminum uprights have disposable motors so all in all, no great loss.

They're still alive and kicking. I'd imagine they might be doing some site renovations or something like that.

This link might make some people a bit sick, so be careful.

Thank Goodness!!

Wouldn't this have been a terrible thing??? I thought I saw a picture on this site sometime this week that said that most housewives prefer Hoover??

Would there be anyway for us as a club to rid Hoover of TTI? That would be great.

I don't care if TTI dies....

I just want to make sure that their "Healthy Gain Investments Company" survives and that that beautiful and catchy brandname ends up plastered on all Hoovers sold in North America!

:)

Fear not!

As we speak, I have a good friend - Design Manager for part of the TTI group - reading my copies of 'The Fabulous Dustpan', and Henry Dreyfuss' industrial design bible, 'Designing for People'.

So we may see more inspirational products in the future ;)
