Don't get so excited friends.....
I think Panasonic closed their vac-making plant in Kentucky and moved all operations to a cheaper work-force in Mexico. I may be wrong, but as of a few years ago, all Kenmores and Panasonics made for the North American market are being assembled south of the border. Notice how the description on Walmart's web-page says "parts are from the USA and/or other countries..." Still, it's nice to see that you might be able to get the same quality as a top-performing Kenmore Progressive canister vac in a Panasonic machine without having to deal with the pushy sales people, lack of replacement parts and expensive repair services at Sears! | ||

K mart has a nice green kenmore. I kinda like it might have to get one of those. I need a brand new vacuum like I need a whole in the head lol. | ||

walmart has been trying to bring in high end items for sale with little success. in peoples minds walmart means low price. it also means low quality. | ||

gggrrr at Walmart. Anyone seen the documentary about them and how they donated over 6,000 dollars to charity last year. WOW considering the normal everyday American people making under 100k donated over 6 billion to different charitable organizations. | ||
