That looks like a normal Kenmore canister, because it is! I'm glad it's made in the US. I like Panasonic/Kenmore vacuums.

good luck

buying it there and finding it. I wanted the gold GE canister they had there forever they never EVER EVER EVER had it in stock only the display. They never sent the actual product I guess. Then I wanted to buy a GE deep fryer cause I had a nice T fal go bad after using it once and there customer service is uesless as hell. SO to make a long story short good luck finding it at the store. And notice it is out of stock online lol.

I think Panasonic closed their vac-making plant in Kentucky and moved all operations to a cheaper work-force in Mexico. I may be wrong, but as of a few years ago, all Kenmores and Panasonics made for the North American market are being assembled south of the border. Notice how the description on Walmart's web-page says "parts are from the USA and/or other countries..."

Still, it's nice to see that you might be able to get the same quality as a top-performing Kenmore Progressive canister vac in a Panasonic machine without having to deal with the pushy sales people, lack of replacement parts and expensive repair services at Sears!

walmart has been trying to bring in high end items for sale with little success. in peoples minds walmart means low price. it also means low quality.

gggrrr

at Walmart. Anyone seen the documentary about them and how they donated over 6,000 dollars to charity last year. WOW considering the normal everyday American people making under 100k donated over 6 billion to different charitable organizations.

I was told by a Walmart manager that alot of this stuff is avalible ONLY on Walmart.com, NOT IN THE STORES. So, i wonder if this is one of them.
