I traded in that nasty powermax for this.
It runs great. This is what it looked like right after I brought it home.
I dident clean it up At all.
It does need a new brushroll Though.

I have a burgandy hard bag legacy, it looks great, but I just hate using it, the powermax is much nicer to use.

And here is the Bottom plate/Brushroll.
It does need a new brushroll as the bristls are very worn.
But I did install a New belt so it works for now.

Sometimes the Eureka belt may burn or mark the belt guide because its wider than hoover belts. Kenmore belt would be a better choice but may slip just a bit and cause a squeel.

Post# 75246 , Reply# 25   7/13/2009 at 12:22 (5,400 days old) by retardturtle ()

the kenmore is a pansc ub8 belt i believe..i may b wrong ..its a bit larger..4 1/4 in...hvr 3 5/8 or a 4 in....
but im gonna pull the cover and look at its condition.
