the cord is probably original, but that is a replacement plug |

Not in the slightest odd...new molded plug Kirby cord sets are expensive...replacement plugs are 99 cents at the hardware store. Remember, lots of folks still pull a plug out of the outlet with a tug on the cord rather than bend down and grasp the plug. This is the commonest damage to a cord, closely followed by running over it. Dave |

Oh well yes that does make sence. I just thought the whole process would be easier to buy a new one and not have to do electrical stuff. |
