So, I bought a NIB Kirby Ultimate G from a seller on eBay from a seller with 9 feedback, I went ahead and placed the winning bid and thought "Hey, everybody has to start out somehow on eBay". So today after I emailed the seller about a shipping question and stumbled upon his "other items", and found the same exact listing for the NIB Kirby, except TWO of them, and for $30 MORE than what I paid. Thankfully I haven't payed for it yet.

What do you guys think? I emailed the seller and asked why he has two other listings with the Kirby that I bought. If it sounds like a scam I'm going to contact eBay and tell them what's happening, and if needed have them cancel the sale so I don't get ripped off.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Below is a link to the sellers other items for sale.

I guess that he could have a bunch of them, a former dealer perhaps? He also could be ripping people off, or they're stolen. You really never know. He does have pictures of the boxed ones, but the images can always be reused or taken from another listing.

The seller wants payment via Paypal, so you are protected if you don't get the cleaner or it's not as described in the listing.
I have bought many cleaners on Ebay that are relisted by the seller who had more than one to sell.

I would pay up, hope for the best and look forward to getting your new Kirby or file a claim if things don't work out. Paypal usually refund the buyer without too much trouble.

alot of sellers recycle pics if they have more than one unit to sell. I would pay and wait for your new machine to arrive!

Same thing happened to me...

When I bought my Legend II. Seller just recycled pictures... but not until after I purchased my machine. It came, no problem.

Thank you all for your opinions, but sadly I'm not going through with the sale. After emailing the seller I've gotten some VERY strange answers.

And they can always close their paypal account and eBay account, that's happened to my mother before, so she couldn't get her money back. I'll just wait for another legit one to pop up.
