well...

You CAN trade it to be nice, but if you purchase it with your own money, you don't have to do anything..

well thats my $.02...

Well im usually too nice of a person but there is this green powermax surpream* that he wants but is letting me have and buying it for me becasue he can get it for 60 and id have to pay 100. with my money of coruse

Post# 73963 , Reply# 3   7/1/2009 at 16:25 (5,404 days old) by lux1521 ()

If the innovation that you saw was the same one that I saw, I don't expect it to stay at $20. It already has 7 bids in the first 24 hours, although it has just 2 bidders. That seller seems to get fairly high prices too.

Just a thought.

Yeah thats the same one, I dident expect it to stay at 20 but if for some odd reason it does that will be amazing

Innovation

If it were me, I'd not be paying that much as the handle has been snapped and glued.....which is NLA!!! Bide your time fellows and wait for a good example instead of throwing your money away on something that has such a MAJOR flaw! My $.02

Well, the Innovation is gone....

And it went waaaay out of my budget. Much as I would give my right eye to have one, if eBay is any barometer it will be a long time before I'll be adding one to my collection.... :-(

I think that you should go for the 4.1 canister, it is a much better vacuum. My late Aunt Thresa had this exact same model, it was so powerful and is a great performer with the Powernozzle

Canister

I tend to favor uprights over canisters....but in this case I would definitely go for the canister. It looks to be in great shape!

Good luck....hope you get the one you want.

The canister looks to be in new condition, but I like the upright better. Classic design, very nice. Watch both of them and try for both... maybe if you don't get one, you'll get the other!

Just thought you all would like to know...

That I am the Winner of the 70's Kenmore Twin Fan!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I actually wasn't going to Bid at first, I mean, I saw it a few Days ago on ebay, but because of all my Bills, mostly from my NEW $32,000 Car, well, I just figured I'd let this one go, I dunno, I mean, I WANTED it, BADLY, cuz my Grandma had the EXACT SAME Kenmore Twin Fan when I was a Kid, EXACT SAME Twin Fan, Color and all, a Vacuum she gave to me when the Belt Broke, but then got Sold at a Yard Sale by my Parents while I was at a Friends House, so you know, I just had to have it again, was the BEST Vacuum I even had to, my FAVORITE of ALL the Twin Fans I ever had, again though, the Bills I had to Pay so, I just didn't want to even try and Bid; however, while at a Restaurant in Pittsburgh yesterday, I decided to check out the Computer in my Car, to see how the Auction was going and all, so when I saw that there was only a little time left and everything, plus not many Bidders at the time, I decided what the Hell and Bid, then SURPRISINGLY, WON it, so yeah, I was VERY HAPPY bout that!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

UNFORTUNATELY, I used one of those Auction Sniper Programs to Bid on this Kenmore and even though I actually set a limit of $50, the STUPID Program kept on Bidding, so although I Won the Auction, with Shipping, my Total for this Twin Fan is $105.00, which, with all my Bills, I do not have at this time. :( I will NEVER use that Program EVER again. :(

Now who's in a Pickle now...?

I know once I have Paid for the Vacuum and have it, I will be THRILLED, but I need to come up with the $105.00 in 5 Days and have NO idea how to do it, other then Sell a few of my other Vacuums, the one's I either don't want anymore or just can't use, like my Kirby Heritage, plus one or two of my MANY Convertible's, I dunno...? :/

If you think about it, $105.00 Total Shipped is a small Price to Pay to once again have my Grandma's Kenmore you know, like I said, it was my FAVORITE Vacuum, Hell, you know what, it may even be the Vacuum that started my whole Vacuum Obsession, so... ;) Then again, when you have to Pay for something you don't have the Money for, well, that kinda ruins the Fun of it all you know. :(

Well, I think I have some Friends and Family, that owe me some Money, so maybe they'll finally Cough it up, lol, I dunno, but I gotta figure out something and FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oopsie is right Dave. :(

Yup, so if that wasn't BAD enough, the Day before, I Won a Singer Twin Fan DIRT CHEAP off ebay, a Two Speed Model, like the Kenmore AND another Member here is Selling me his 90's Model Kenmore Twin Fan CHEAP as well, so I've got a few to Pay for now. :(

I can Pay for the Singer now, cuz I was the ONLY Bidder, plus, like I said, Won it DIRT CHEAP, so that's OK and I'm sure I can get my fellow VCCC Member, plus Friend, to hold the 90's Kenmore he has for me, till I get Paid again, so that's not a problem at all I'm sure, but $105.00 for my Grandma's Kenmore, OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW... While I'm here, does anybody Reading this want to Buy a Black and Red, HEAVY-DUTY, Wide-Path Singer Twin Fan Upright????? The one I have looks and runs like BRAND NEW, only has a Blown Headlight Bulb, plus a Repaired Power Switch and although I would LOVE to keep it, as it is a POWERFUL Machine, I honestly HATE the look of the Wide Nozzle, HATE it, that and I don't use it much at all, so I decided to Sell it, after Winning the other Singer, I mean, if you don't like a certain Vacuum of yours all that much, then why keep it, right...?

I know it sounds STUPID not to keep a Vacuum cuz of how it's Nozzle looks, but that's how I feel, besides, the 50-Foot Cord kinda gets in my way to at times, lol, HARD to wind up as well, so let me know Guys... ;)

Im sorry but even Tho ALL of you told me to go for the canister I think im Gonna go for the twinfan. Why? Because that blue twinfan I lost was the second kenmore upright Ive bid on and lost. IM SICK AND TIRED OF IT! besids, that twinfan is dirt cheap and looks to be in good condition. But It's a hard dicision. Im gonna have to sleep on it...

By the way james...

Please Don't bid on this one concerding you allready have the same exact one. :P
and I really want it.

kirbfan94

I'm sorry you lost the Blue Kenmore Twin Fan to me, but I didn't see your Post here about it, till after I Bid on and Won it, plus, as I said above, this was my Grandma's Kenmore Twin Fan, which she gave to me, that I had for about a Year or so, before my Parents Sold it at a Yard Sale, so honestly, I was going to Bid when I did no matter what, although, I do feel really BAD about it now, especially after seeing the Price I have to Pay for it and all. :( Oh well...

Anyway, you should Bid on that other Twin Fan, that's on ebay right now, as I actually have the VERY SAME Kenmore Twin Fan right now, in fact, back in Dec., I made a Video of it for YouTube, so you definitely need to Bid on it, I mean, it's a GREAT Vacuum and all, I LOVE mine!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

BTW, if you are Tired of losing these ebay Auctions, then why not Buy the Singer Twin Fan HEAVY DUTY Upright I have right now, all it needs is a Headlight Bulb and you are good to go, I'll even Install a fresh Bag, Belt is GOOD, so let me know, cuz I can get it Packed up and Shipped out to you this Week, will give you a GREAT Price Shipped for it to even, less then what I Won the Blue Kenmore for, that's for sure, lol, again, let me know, I can take Photos for you as well... ;)

Post# 74482 , Reply# 31   7/5/2009 at 23:34 (5,400 days old) by kirbfan94 ()

Don't feel bad, If you dident see my post you dident see it. Every thing happens for a reason. And I would buy that kenmore of yours but I have another person on hold for a decade 80 Im susposed to buy from him. But I would love to see the pictures anyway as im sure others do too. And I watched that video of yours countless times drooling because I wanted one. haha

Post# 74485 , Reply# 32   7/5/2009 at 23:40 (5,400 days old) by moparhemipower ()
No prob Buddy, lol

Have you seen my YouTube Video already, cuz you know I have that other Twin Fan already, lol...? ;)

Anyway, don't worry Buddy, I'm done after these last 3, no more Vacuums, least not for a long while, I have to Sell a few of what Vacuums I have now as it is, to not only make some Money here, but make Room for the 3 Twin Fans I have coming already, so, yeah, I'm done, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think though, if I would have seen your Post here first though, I wouldn't have Bid, but I didn't know till after, so, I dunno... It's not like I can see who's Bidding or anything anymore you know...? :/

Post# 74486 , Reply# 33   7/5/2009 at 23:43 (5,400 days old) by kirbfan94 ()

haha It's all good. When I saw that you used that snipeing thing I was like "thats why it went so fast!"

Post# 74487 , Reply# 34   7/5/2009 at 23:48 (5,400 days old) by moparhemipower ()
I see now...

You Added me as a Friend on YouTube not too long ago, right?????

Anyway, yeah, I'll take some Pics today sometime, cuz like I said, I just don't like the WIDE Nozzle on a Twin Fan you know, the Cord gets in the way at times, cuz it's SO LONG, not to mention, HARD TO WIND UP and I just NEED the Money now, so it's gotta go... :/

Post# 74489 , Reply# 35   7/5/2009 at 23:58 (5,400 days old) by moparhemipower ()
Yeah, but...

As you know, the Sniper SCREWED up and kept Bidding, so I dunno, I don't think I'll be using another again. :(

I set my Limit at $50, so I would have Lost if it didn't keep Bidding, but still, you know, that kinda got me ANGRY and all. :(

Well, I Bought Vacuums from that same Seller before, the 1st being a Hoover Convertible 1076, so I'm sure he'll give me a little extra time to Pay you know, he's a NICE Guy... ;)

Post# 75317 , Reply# 36   7/13/2009 at 21:28 (5,392 days old) by moparhemipower ()
Well...

I have the 70's Kenmore Twin Fan now, but it won't Run unless you hold the Handle about half way, so I dunno what's wrong with it and am VERY UPSET about this, especially after what I Paid for it and all. :(

LORD, this can only happen to me. :(

Well, I'm gonna try and Fix it now, but I'm not sure that I can, so WISH me LUCK, I'll NEED it!!!!!!!!!!!!
