The Miele S2 range are now up on the Miele website. I haven't seen them in any shops yet though. I might be having to get one soon.

I'm not sure I like the appearance of them as much as the other series, but I'm sure they'll offer the performance, quality and reliablity we've come to expect from Miele!

I guess they're sized and priced to compete with the similar Bosch models...

Lol- isnt that Kirby's moto on their newer series?

I sure do love mieles anyways. They are super nice. With a fair pricetag for what it is.

Mmmmm I may be tempted.

Who knows, also a major plus point that they have re designed the large floor head.

I hope its not like the current one with the wheels on the back. I find they dont run very smoothly and can be a pain to pull back.
The wheels just dont help in my opinion.

When I use my S5210 I retrofit it with the Hotpoint cylinders head which is the same style as fitted to 80s Vax's and the smaller version of the Henry one.
I find this much more efficient and oh so easier to use.

Love the styling too, nice to see some manufacturers backing the bag to the max and making machines that are easier and less complicated on the eye unlike some others we wont mention LOL :)

Cant be sure but Comet may have them in stock. Not 100% sure if i saw them on display or not when I popped into the Crewe store last Friday on the hunt for bargains.

This being a budget / more basic range...

...could they be made in China?
