Does anyone have an opinion regarding which FQ power nozzle is the best? It seems the power nozzle may be the one weak point of a Filter Queen. I have a Model 48 PN but it's not nearly as agressive as my Tristar with a VGI that I fitted it with. Thanks for any thoughts!

Best FQ PN

The 360 is the best for deep-cleaning & pet hair but so/so on durability; but I don't use the PN that much since I only have throw rugs & vacuum them with the floor brush (does a nice job too) A 48 Series (Princess style) PN is best on comercial use b/c they hold up better than the 88? (Majestic style) (also holds up better than the 360?) I thought the 88 Series PN had metal housing, but does the 48 Series PN have die-cast housing?

I think

my Model 48 is mostly plastic except for the base plate and the motor bracket. I haven't noticed any difference in how well the PN 48 and the Majestic PN clean. To me the big difference is the headlight! LOL! I've never used the newest PN. Though I wonder if the generic brushrolls work any differently. I've never used one, so I don't know. The one thing I do like about a FQ brushroll is that it can be flipped as the bristles wear.
