I recently bought a Lewyt Bigwheel from an auction site, though it's not my favorite, so I would like to sell it or trade. If I sell it I would only like to get my money back and shipping. If somebody would like to trade, I would be interested in a Compact, Hoover Constellation, an older Hoover such as anything from the 60 series (except Convertibles), or a model 28 in the same condition. Anything that's cool, vintage, and sucks would be possible!

The Lewyt is in pretty nice condition, it doesn't have many scratches on the parts that you can see, however there are many scratches on the bottom. It has the original dusting brush, upholstery brush, and a replacement crevice tool with a replacement hose (but has original ends). The cord will need to be replaced as it is crumbling at the end. I turned it on and it ran smooth and quiet. It just needs a good cleaning and some TLC.

I will post pictures shortly, if anybody is interested please let me know.

Oh goody. I'm all pins & needles. Don't forget a shot of the hinge so we know the model number.

Here are the pics. Sorry, my camera didn't want to focus on the hinge tonight, but it is a model 88.

Upon closer inspection, the vinyl bumper is cracking, as well as the seal for the bag compartment. The end of the hose has two little dings on the end.

And the bag compartment.

Can't read the lettering but I'd say that's the 1956 Lewyt 88, judging from the gray bottom and lid & hinge plate & green hammertone middle and the on/off toggle switch.
