last one

here is the last one, the bag is not the factory bag and the cord has been replaced but is still genuine Hoover. I have 4 C bags and 2 belts that go with it. Although I seem to like Electrolux Upright bags, they seal over the fill tube really good and when you take it off it seals in the dust. I have like 15 or so of those too..

Early Hoover Convertibles

Unfortunately, alot of the value these early Convertibles have is lost when the original bag is replaced. The vinyl they were using at that time had a propensity to tear and crack fairly easily, so on many of these machines the bags were replaced over the years. I know myself when buying one on eBay, whether or not it has the original bag (and what condition it is in) factors heavily into how much I will bid. One thing that yours has that my 67 doesn't is the chrome strip above the headlight lens. Often this too is missing (don't ask me why). In terms of value, what it is worth is what another collector is willing to pay. Only way to assure you will get maximum value is list it on eBay with no reserve and see where it goes from there.
