When did Eureka introduce the Vibra Groomer bursh? Where can I find a VGII? The Vibra Groomer II for a Roto-Matic Power Nozzle is harder 2 find now, is it discontinued? Has it been replaced by a VGIII?

Pretty much all the Roto-Matic PN brushrolls are next to impossible to find nowadays. The modern "excuse" for a VGII brushroll is that horrible wooden monstrosity. The VGIII brushroll you see for PN's is for a different style power nozzle. They won't fit the Roto-Matic style heads.

I think the VibraGroomer was introduced in the early 70s or late 60s. Before that they had the "Disturbulator" which is still made in a modified form today. (Wooden brushroll with plastic beaters).

If only Eureka made the VGIII brush for the Roto-Matic power heads, I'd be happier

Why? The VGII works better. if you want a VGIII, get one of the generic wooden ones. They'll probably work about the same.

The vibragroomer II was orginally disigned for the Selfpropelled upright, which was intorduced at the new Orleans Eureka Convention in Feb. 1979. It was soon changed
to the vibragroom II, as the first one had sleeve bearing and
could not hold up to the heat stress of the 6.5 amp motor in
the self propelled machine. I believe the model was a 5060 A/
B series. So the Vibragroomer II came out on the upright with
Ball bearings, like a Hoover Convertible or the Helixical Steel VG I, with ball bearing. Then the VGII with Ball Bearings
was adapted to the Roto-Matic power nozzles. Not sure but think that was later during the year of 1979,Maybe 1980 !!!
