Has anyone seen the Hoover Roto-Power brush? I've looked everywhere & can't find 1; not even eBay. How good did the Roto-Power do comp. w/WindTunnel turbo brush? I'd like 2 have 1 4 my 1970s Quik Broom.

I've got two of them...

One that I use to clean out vintage Hoover bags, and one new in the box (NIB). Having just moved, they're in boxes... or I would take a picture of them.

Please, as hard as it may be... try to type in full words, not abbreviations and numbers. It's much easier to understand and read..

Thank you for that spelling request, Fred. Texting shorthand, bad spelling, lack of punctuation, and general bad sentence structure habits drive most of us to distraction, I'm sure. It becomes so annoyingly predictable that one may choose to pass over certain postings and even threads. It's not enough to say 'I'm a kid'...you have a future ahead of you and lazy habits speak volumes. Hint - all browsers have a Spellchecker option.

This is a web site discussion Forum fully growed, not a Blackberry. While I don't have the statistics I will hazard a guess that most of us fall between the ages of 30 to 80+. We read the Forum as a leisure activity accompanied by a beverage of choice, not while rushing between meetings...or classes.

Fred! You have moved to Minneapolis? I was sure you were much further east...and south. ? And I will be passing through Minneapolis come this mid November...after terrorizing around Chicago and Wisconsin...I owe you a dinner out.

That's life these days

with cell phones & PDAs of today. I currently run my own vac shop (thru eBay only) but plan to open a walk-in store later.

I hate to say it...

But I agree with Dave on this one. Reading "internet speak" is exhausting. The grammar is usually so bad and so abbreviated that you spend more time trying to decipher what someone is TRYING to say than if they actually just said it in the first place!

Considering that you have a minimum of a 101 key keyboard in front of you, there's really no excuse not to type in complete sentences on a forum. Do you talk to friends in "Internet Speak"? Probably not...

Depends on when I use a REAL computer OR cell phone since I travel a lot daily to get vac parts.

the model O Hoover was my aunt's vac (her grandparents bought it new) & I REALLY MISS THAT VAC! I've NEVER used it since it ended up in my home; it only was for display & I turn on motor twice (not vacing, just a test) Sorry I don't have any pics of most vacs I've had as a kid, the only pics of childhood vacs I have are of a Lux 1205 (still have it today)
