I really like these Panasonic uprights for daily use especially the little Dual Purpose because it's very light, has a brushroll on/off switch and most importantly it's very very quiet. Great for bare floors and light carpet cleaning since it's not very agressive. The bigger one is somewhat noiser but has those neat little spinning side brushes you can see in the pic, for getting close to baseboards.

Nice vac but like the smaller Jet Flo it isn't overly agressive either on wall to wall.

size comparison , it's hard to see in the pic but the Jet Flo is substantially smaller than the other one.

Pete a former roommate has that bigger unit, bought it new 14 years ago and still has it. I was there then and I liked it. Nice and quiet and convenient to use.

The Evolution light is really a great machine as we sell the Evolution "Formerly sold under Bernina" Line and there really great machines. If your not fimiler with them picture a panisonic a sharp and a kenmore all thrown up into one machine. I get allot of folks dropping there orecks for the lite model. The downside is of course the capacity of the bag, but you get allot more motor for the money and much more erm, better made?
