That is a Model XXX (30) that was made from about 1937 to 1952 (or there abouts). I think that particular model had the longest production run of any Electrolux model. |

What is that little device sitting next to your crevice tool on the XXX? It looks like it could be some kind of air bleeder attachment. I've never seen one of those before. |

That is a suction control. Prior to incorporating it into the handle of the hose. I'll post a picture of it in a little bit. It's really kinda cool. |

As you move the knob toward "low" these vents open up. |

Here it is in use. I always wanted one of these. It came as an "extra" with a sprayer. It was listed in the Electrolux XXX manual, but I had never seen one. |

Is that triangle attachment an aftermarket item? Or was that produced by Electrolux? |

Thanks for the picture. Those little guys are so neat. And heavy for such a small device. You've said how handy it has been in use. |

Dave, thanks so much for posting that!! Very interesting. I had no idea that it was that old. Like I said it is really a handy little tool and I have used it often on furniture. It just glides over the fabric. |
