Wednesdays are my regular day off and I usually go visit Tom G. at his vac shop for part of the day. I was surprised today when he presented me with an early Christmas gift, something that he had heard me mention that I want. Since I first saw the new Hoover Windtunnel 2, I knew I wanted one. I wasn't really in a hurry to get one, because I figured they would be out a while, but after hearing of the sad Hoover news, I was planning on getting one sooner, and now I have one!! THANK YOU TOM :) This machine is SOOO pretty to me. I love the green and white and the styling of the machine. The dirtfinder is really cool too. The HEPA bags for this vacuum are REALLY nice bags, I hope they make them for a while. Anyway.. just wanted to share a picture of my newest vac :)

You LUCKY DOG!

What great machine from a great guy. I really do miss seeing Tom on the forum, but I'm sure he's busy. I hope he's doing well.

Hello

Congrats!
How does this compare to the Hoover self propelled bagged WindTunnel performance wise?

I like how the bag down opens up in the front...reminds me of a Dial-a-matic! They really do seem like nice paper bags...you only so rarely see plastic used on a disposable paper bag hehe

Congratulations, Derreck, what a sleek-looking machine...I've never seen one of these in person before either! Hopefully someone can bring theirs to Omaha (hint hint)!

I'm assuming the wand detaches at the handle?
