I might be trading with Reggie for one of these (haven't fully decided yet, such a choice :P its a pity i can't offer him much myself) but anyway, could anybody tell me about the 1970s royal uprights?

Call me a colour scheme nerd but the reason I guessed there were 70s (apart from that dashing shade of turquoise :P) is because I noticed a pic of one of these with the hose and the hose was chrome with parts in a lovely shade of dull mustard brown lol

Really nice machine-Love the blue bag color and the Royal "Crown" logo on the bag.SUPER!I have one similar to this.the bag is different.

I bet it cleans well also, whilst being somewhat lighter than my Kirby Heritage 2 (us brits aren't used to such masculine vacuum cleaners :P lol) should make light work of my medium pile carpeting, carpet tiles and hard floors
