ok.. I ahve a question ... There is currently a New Miele Jupiter vacuum still in the box on craigslist for $600. I phoned and spoke with the person who is selling it and asked him a few key questions.
He said that it was a wedding gift from his father , his wife has a dyson and loves it, and that they need the cash for the Miele. He also said that it is still in the box and has not even been opened.I asked the seller if he has the original reciept for it nad he said he yes. That Jupiter retails for $1399 plus tax here in canada. The vacuum is still avavilable,, I just wondered why he has not sold it yet.

Would you buy it??

Thanks

Brad.

Well gee Brad, you're the one with a vacuum store...is $600 below dealer cost?
It has not sold yet because the person who knows how good a Miele is and how much one's worth on the street has not discovered its craiglisting yet...he who hesitates loses.

The Marine Blue JUPITER is the current Canadian TOL Model S5 with electric power nozzle and telescopic wand.

Why, if I was in Vancouver...

Dave, who isn't...in Vancouver. :-(

I think the Jupiter is Miele's most beautiful vacuum to date, displacing the Artico.

Patrick, I totally agree about the Jupiter being the most beautiful!
We in the USA finally have that color as the Earth!

Have you gotten any of the Hyclean bags yet? They're amazing!

We've gotten the Earth at the vac shop I'm at a few days a week.

It is a pretty machine; it looks green-ish blue in the picture, but in person, it's less green, more blue. Pretty machine though. It only has three motor speed settings... Low, AutoEco, and High. I love the auto setting! It's definitely the current Miele that I want. :-D
