The model 61 was made from 1946-1950. It was the top of the line model that sold next to the mid range model 28 and the ecomomy model 115. There were only 389,862 of them made, compared to 2,278,594 model 28's. Your 61 looks like it's in great condition, other than the few scuff marks on the base. Congratulations, Jeff |

OOOH thats a nice one! The model 61 is SUCH a lovely machine, even the box is gorgeous. And start stocking up on brush strips now. |

Speaking of brush strips, it has one long and fluffy white brush strip, and one thin black brush strip (could use replacing). I think the black strip is horsehair. ~Alex |
