Hey everyone. Was wondering if anyone had one of these technological marvels? I was look at one the other day at the local vacuum store and I'm not sure if I like it or not. How is it suction wise? I really like that it comes with both the dry and wet attachments unlike the Rainbow. I wonder how hard it would be to clean up after using. I've found thats one reason I always abandoned my Rainbows was that after you are done cleaning it was always a pain to wash out the pan and let everything air dry. Let me know what you think.

no no no no

Stick with rainbow. This is your average piece of crap vacuum. Not worth the money.

??? rainbows come with both sets of attachments. Wet and dry.

Rainbow

Hi, David. I've never seen that vac before. I have the SE Rainbow. I use it for all spills and only vacuum with it when I have to vacuum the whole house. I only use the 4 quart basin and I fill it 2 inches above the pin to maximize filtration. Good for vacuuming out fireplaces.....Bill in Az...

Vacuum out fireplace ashes with a Rainbow ? Really ?
In all my years of being in the vacuum business It was
historically stated that if Ashes hit the water they
would skim water and return to the air ! If you have actual
experience, Ok. I never personally tried it. I'll
go with your word on that one.

Hi, Norm

When I vacuumed the fireplaces out, I put some original Pine-sol in it to make the water "wetter", then it goes down the toilet......Bill in

Pine-Sol

Hi, Norm. It works great in the Rainbow. And it DOES NOT get foamy. Also helps when vacuuming up dry wall. I used to clean new houses and only use the 4 quart basin. I wish RB still made the SS 3 and 5 gallon basins, but they told me they had too few of requests for it. I'll find one on ebay....Bill in Az....

Interesting

Seems like if I use ANYTHING in my Rainbow other than the small bottles of rainbow fragrances, I get too much foam. I can't even use the big bottle of Rainbow Air Freshener because just a small amount and it foams too. I dunno why. I could only imagine the foam mess if I used Pine Sol.

1 gallon basin

Hi, Mark. I only use the 1 gallon basin with my SE. And I fill it about an inch from the poll. NEVER been a problem for me and no FOAM.....Bill in Az.....
