Finaly I found the time to finish my legend II. it is complete and lookes like new, I am verry proud because it was a disaster on wheels when i got it. AS you can see the european version has the caddy. zippbrush and turbo atachment of the G3. This was the beginning of kirby in Belgium and holland it rare over here.

Rare there well they're getting quite rare here now. You have to wonder if people are even buying new Kirbys anymore in N.America.. I wonder how much of their sales are now overseas as a percentage compared to what it used to be. I'll bet he overseas percentage of sales has increased quite alot as the domestic sales have slipped.

Hi, That looks very nice you must be proud of it.

The later runs of legend II had the G series style attachments.
The even later run than that had the same color attachments as the Generation 3.

The Genration 3 was late coming out over here in the UK and Europe. Up in to 1992 as the Genration 3 came out in the USA in 1990.

Kirby's highest Sales ?

When the club toured the Kirby plant in Cleveland, last Aug.
Someone asked that very question in my group. "Where are
the biggest sales for Kirby being world wide now?" The tour guide ( can't remember his position) said their biggest volume in 2008, was in Russia and the Arabe Republic.
I found Russia to be interesting, Arabe Republic quit possible due to the oil money and travel industry. Plus all the sand ! Much like Floridia and Calf. were back in the 50's and 60's.
