Thats actually a Eureka PN fitted with what appears to be a 70s era set of lux extensions.

Now that I think a bit more about it there was a rebuilder around here that always used that style PN on his rebuilt lux canisters. Notice that that one does not have the Eureka logo on it.

It is not a bad power nozzle.....

At some point, I had bought the Eureka World Vac power team canister and owned it for a few years. The improvement Eureka made with this nozzle over the previous Express nozzle was that this has edge-to-edge brushes because the drive belt was moved off the edge an inch or two. It actually was a very good design, and the Eureka World Vac ended up top ranked in Consumer Reports in the early 90's because of it's excellent carpet cleaning. This thing really moved - it almost felt self-propelled!

By the way, Swedish Electrolux has broken out of their North American "Orange Contract" and are now offering some new models in a "kewl" lime green. The new Oxygen power team canister offers an electrically driven mini power brush for upholstery - very well designed with an adjusting contact frame featuring blue "Miracle Brush" lint strips. Nice.......

I like this power nozzle too... it was on some of the Eureka vacuums I sold at Sears several years ago. No height adjust, and no beater bars, very plain jane, but it did the job. I know that many Beam central vacs used this power nozzle as well.

Your right Vacuumfreeke

My beam system had this nozzle. I knew I recognized it. Gosh I miss a central system. I could come home from work and clean my house without waking anyone.
