Here she is all layed out.

Here she is after a good scrubbing. I'm sure the bag is not original so I set it aside for now.
After all these years this is the first upright I have bought on ebay. The purple just called my name!

Last one.
Here's where all the action happens!
I have a couple questions for the Hoover experts.
First this is a model 33 Ser 361000, can anybody date this machine?
Second what models of the convertible used the two position hight adjustment? I like this setup better than the four position on the newer machines.

Great machine. Do YOU know the story about that cleaner?

Agnes Moorehead (Bewitched) was very good friends with the HOOVERS. It was her favorite color. They made this for HER !!! There was a HOOVER in ALL of her movies, shows, etc. a FREE ad for HOOVER. Best of luck with it. "YOU'LL be happier with a HOOVER" John

I love that colour scheme...it makes me think of soap, for some reason...

Hey Nick! Nice Hoover! I always wondered why Agnes Moorehead wore purple clothes and eye shadow! Later, Trg

Beautiful find,
I can see how it would make one think of soap or saltwater taffy.
the color reminds me of the lilac soaps that Avon used to make.

And we thought it was just a Bewitching ENDORA makeup choice...

I heard this story 3 times from different people in my travels. In fact, it was a clause in her contract - she insisted on a lavender Convertible at every engagement, backstage, throughout her career.

I think I recall correctly that the Lavender one at John Gregory's Sweeper Central in Dunmore, PA was a studio prop found and given to him. Has Darren, Sam and Endora's fingerprints all over it. And Dear Aunt Clara, too. And Paul Lynde and Cesar Romero and...
