I guess because the bag says DVC, it's not original, it is of a satiny material. Also the white cord is not original.

It runs well, but I will clean and lubricate it. It takes interesting brush strips that screw in, are these still available? The bag has been converted to use C style bags.

I think it's cool that it came with it's attachments and box!

The guy I bought it from told me it was his Great Aunt's, and she had bought it new. Never bought another one. She passed, and he took it. After a while with it, he decided to keep his late '80s Singer upright, and sell the Hoover.

Looks almost the same as the model 63 here in the U.S. But it's a bit newer than what it says in the sale ad--it's actually from the mid-50's. The 63 was made from '54 to '56, and I'm assuming the 619 had a similar time frame. Nice that the attachments came with it, that's always a plus. Congrats,
Jeff

You will want to see if your machine uses the one or two screw brushes. Most are one, I think. You will want to Google vacuum shops in metro areas near you. Call as many as possible. As soon as they answer, ask if they might have OLD Hoover parts. I wish i had extras.

Here in TX, Murphys has some old parts, and has shipped to me.
