...if your machines are not making any unusual noise, starting and winding down smoothly, the bearings most likely have "had" sufficient lubrication. But gauging from the age of the machines, it might be a good idea to disassemble and repack the bearings regardless, due to the fact that grease can dry out over time. See thread #4269 8-28-08 in the archives for instructions. As a footnote, if the machines are to be displayed and never to be used again, this might be a moot point.
