Bernie, a very interesting and unusual machine! I have never seen a bag attachment like that. Any history of the machine to share with us? Thanks |

Thanks guys.... This old Royal dates to about 1921. I've had it for many years. I bought it from an old man at a flea Market nearly 25 years ago. It was duct-taped together everywhere, the bag was dragging the ground, switch missing, and pieces of frayed cord and exposed wires dangling. It sat in my shed for 22 of those 25 years untested until I had gathered the needed parts to put it back together. It's not restored, just refitted and cleaned up.

Just an FYI. The Royal that I have just like that one dose have a clip on front and back brush. Like the straight suction Eureka's of the same vintage had! Thought you'd want to know ! Norm |

Hey Bernie, I was wondering about the cord on your Royal and some of your older machines. It looks to be orginal but of course that is unlikely. |
