And you found it in a junk pile?? Looks like it's in excellent condition, too!! I believe it's one of the first Eurekas.

That's in beautiful condition! If I'm not mistaken, it's a Model 9, from 1923. Not quite the first Eureka but very early. I have one too, and really like the sound of it. Very "antique" sounding! :)

Hey, you got one of those upside -

never mind!!! LOL Sorry. Fantastic Eureka!!!!How odd the lone rear wheel. I can imagine the difficulty in driving. It swivels, doesn't it? I know the standard four fixed wheels would have been easier to operate, but think how much more of a treasure this is for the lack of them. Evolution of design.
