I love the brochure artwork for products in the '50s and most of the '60s, it really made the buyer feel special that their vacuum, range, fridge, hi-fi, or car was classy and a wise choice to boot. I posted a notice for a brochure pertaining to a central vacuum system, the lady of the house is wearing a ballerina length strapless formal, white gloves, and three inch heels.

Oh heck, says I, I'll toss a low bid at it and maybe just maybe I'll win it. So I did, and I did. I guess no one other than Charles and I are so Electrolux dazed to agree that this kind of paper documentation has value... Dave, never pass up a chance to acquire an Owner's Manual for Every Machine. LOL |
