As Rick Benedikt would say, "here's another person who's proud of his Electrolux."

oh

really! wow. I am looking at one on my desk right now that I keep there and I did not pay nearly as much and I have all the attachments and original receipt.

Yeah, that's what makes this particular listing so funny. It's not all-original, incomplete, and not in fabulous condition. Nice, but not fabulous. The sort of set you'd pay $5-10 for in a thrift shop or yard sale, which surely is precisely where they found it.

Well, I just couldn't resist writing the seller. My fingers were just itching too badly. So I did write, nicely I think:

I'm afraid you have seriously overestimated the value of this Electrolux. The machine is incomplete, has mismatched attachments, and is in "nice" but not "fabulous" condition.

These old Luxes were made by the millions, maybe even as many as 10 million, and are a dime a dozen. You'd be surprised how many of them are still being put to good and useful service.

Now, if it was brand new in the box, untouched since it left the factory, complete with all the original attachments both standard and optional, with all paperwork, documentation, sales receipt, original bags, etc etc etc ... that would be a different story. As it is, it's "just another Electrolux."

But good luck with it.

~~~~~~~
I'll most likely get a "what the f@#k do you know response," but since I'm expecting it, I can "delete and ignore."
