Here are two Firestone cleaners...very strange! The one is obviously a badged Eureka canister. Both are here compliments of Jimmy the washer guy here in Coventry, OH. Gary Ball and I went to visit Jimmy this afternoon while he is visiting from CA. Jimmy was a gracious host and gave us a tour of his fantastic washer, iron, mixer, vacuum, etc., collection. It was so much fun that I completely lost track of time. Thanks for your hospitality Jimmy!

I could be wrong, but I think the upright might be a rebadged Apex. If so, it was made in Cleveland!!

I was thinking the same thing. That upright is definitely an Apex.

I had one of those Apex uprights

but it was in pieces - I gave it to Hans Craig who rebuilt it (he's a mechanical genius), submitted it to the contest at one of the annual meetings and won a prize for it -- best vintage revolving brush upright I believe. As he would put it, "It'll suck dry paint right off the wall!"

Upright

Tom, for sure, it's an apex!
