I see that as beeing grabbed up quickly. Its the 888, the one with the nozzle that comes off like a Kirby's.

I didn't know

...that Royal made one of their uprights with a removable front like a Kirby? Have you ever seen one? Do you know about when it was made? Does anyone in the club have one? Just wondering. I have never seen one or heard of anything like that.

when I worked for Electro-Hygiene. They were a great machine, and I wish I would have bought one for myself. Only the ones we sold through Electro-Hygiene was called the Galaxie Prestige and the model # was 990. A selling point was the power of a Kirby at 1/4 the price!

I have the Royal 888 version, as seen on the ebay listing. Its a interesting and desireable model.

I have the owners manual for that machine. If you would like I can copy it and send to you.

It shows the floor polisher, hose and attachments, handy handle, short bag along with a second cord with a toggle switch built in.
