OMG pembroke

I live less than 30 mins from there. I am in pompano. I just got back from fort myers ick what a drive. It poured the whole way on the alley. Windy and horrible good luck to all the east west coast peeps. My family and yours are hoping for the best. I think this storm is not going to be anything. But those of you who remember charlie. This is doing the exact same thing.

Yes Matthew...

I know you're very close. I had responded to the same question in the Off-Topic forum. I didn't realize Wilton Manors was considered Pompano. My partner works in Pompano. I work at the Port of Miami.

Storm has nearly past. Windy and sunny now here at the Port. I think people made a mountain out of a molehill on this one...and was telling them so. However, I had no credibility because I was telling people that there was NO WAY Wilma was going to make a perfect 90 degree RIGHT HAND turn, cross the Everglades from the WEST and slam into us! LOL Boy...talk about being wrong and eating your words! It was like someone was DRIVING that storm just like a car. A 90 degree right hand turn???!!! I still have a hard time believing it. But...we worked like dogs for five days straight to clean up the house and yard on that one.
