I went to walmart today....debating with myself of which vacuum to buy.....Hoover mach 3 or the brand new Hoover whisper cyclonic.....well I made the decision....and I bought a Whisper cyclonic because I read somewhere on the internet that alot of people like them. I am very impressed with this machine. It is very quiet...and when you turn it on the motor speeds up to power just like the Hoover Z400. It also has a big red power button on the side of the handle which reminds me of the Hoover junior power button. It sorta resembles the Hoover "one" from the UK. I also like the nice blue color and the chrome accents. It handles like a $300 vacuum but at $119. And it is extremely fun to use!!!

Congrats

Looks awesome. Thanks for the pics (especially of the switch... I'm very much a power switch kinda guy... one of my favorite vacuum parts save the ballooning bag).

I can't wait to see the vid... I'm at work now and the work computer doesn't have speakers. I can't imagine any modern big box brand (especially a TTI Hoover of all things) being quiet! I do like a quiet vacuum though (my Vorwerk and Royal 801 are the quietest two I have... they aren't powerful, but are a a dream to listen to). The brushroll indicator on the left side of the nozzle, is that a light? what's the one on the right side?

How does it pick up?

When the light is blue it means the brushroll is on...when the light is off the brushroll is not on. On the otherside if the suction is blocked the red light blinks....when its off the cleaner is not blocked. It cleans very good...it leaves nice carpet lines and seems to be picking up pretty good.

Good Choice!

Looks like an excellant machine! If you google VAX ZERO TURBOFORCE it's the British version and gets outstanding reviews on amazon uk.

Decade80, were you at the convention? If you were sorry I missed you? You were so close by, being in Alliance?

You missed a truly amazing time

Sadly, that HOOVER has no resemblance to a HOOVER of any kind. :(
