Hey Hoover guys,,,tell us about the POD Aerodyne and its Dirt Ejector. How does this dirt ejector work? Was there a seperate bag that was ejected or did you just eject the dirt onto newspaper? How did it Eject the dirt? What keeps the dirt from flowing thru the motor and fan?
What if the machine was packed full of dirt?
Also, the ad says that the rug nozzle is made to keep from having to 'scrub" the rug, save time, ect. What exactly made it so? How was it different from other Hoover floor nozzles?
Thanks in advance! Brian

I have the model shown and there is a built in bag in the aerodyne. also there are a couple of filters that protect the motor think of the electrolux model 30. the bag is pretty thick so I think the filtration is great. as a matter of fact I looked at the filter the other week and it is pretty clean. basically you push on the lever and empty the dirt on the newspaper pretty easy operation and no dust to hassle with

Am I correct about removing the bag to access the motor filters?
Thanks.

Accessing the motor filter

Yes, that is correct for the 50/51/53 series Aero-dynes with the ejector/ejaculator set up!  It's not the most convenient, housewife-friendly set up since you'll need your Craftsman flat/slotted head screwdriver.  Be sure to remove the wing-nut inside (at bottom of the bag!)
