Another Available:

This one is probably not the price range you had in mind, but my CXL is available. It's absolutely complete, with every factory accessory, some extras, the manual, and an original box. Here's a rundown:

- Canister (complete, undamaged, new afterfilter basket, TriStar emblem present and undamaged).
- Power Nozzle
- Four wands (two for PN, two for rug and floor tools, etc. This saves the usual hassle with TriStars, which is that you have to take the wands off the PN to use them with the floor and rug tools- TriStars come standard with only two wands).
- Complete set of genuine TriStar tools in clear/glitter- upholstery tool (complete with grille, which is almost always missing), crevice tool, and dusting brush (with new bristle insert).
- Floor tool in cast aluminium.
- Rug shoe to clip onto floor tool, converting it to a rug tool. This is clear/glitter plastic.
- Rug tool in cast aluminium (the rug shoe is not all that great in actual use, so I bought the rug tool to use instead, and kept the rug shoe for display). This tool has a speckled silver/black painted finish.
- Attachment caddy (clips onto wands and stores dusting brush, upholstery tool, and crevice tool).
- NEW, GENUINE TRISTAR hose.
- Instruction manual.
- IEC TriStar box, with foam insert for tools. Some minor damage and some writing on box.

I have never, in ten years on eBay, seen a TriStar this complete, with all tools and parts genuine TriStar, not aftermarket.

I'm selling it because my arthritis requires something lighter in weight; I wanted it for a daily driver, and I had forgotten how substantial a TriStar is. Price is $400 plus shipping and required insurance, your choice of carriers. Photos are available at the link below.

Tri-Strar

Hi Filter-Queen 83--KirbyKid is right--I've got about a dozen or so of the Burgundy/Red Tri-Stars, I don't have any hoses but do have machines, also I have some of the power nozzles, I'm sure I could find some attachments. If you would like to contact me if you are still looking, my e-mail address is: thetrain48@yahoo.com.

Sincerely,
Nathan L. Thomas

What are you going to use for a daily driver in its place?

Speaking of Tristar

I saw one on Craig's and was thinking about it. The people only wanted $20 for it! I thought that was an excellent deal! I am still very unsure if I want it. I contacted the people and it would be VERY close to pick up.

Looks like it's going to be the Lux Model L for me. Much lighter than my other vacs, yet still powerful. My arthritis is in my elbows, generating quite a bit of discomfort if I lift something too heavy. I had to sell all my professional cookware and start collecting vintage aluminium-clad Farberware for the same reason.

Hopefully, someone here will want the TriStar; I'd really rather it went to someone who really appreciates vacuums.
