There has been a recall on certain dirt devil vacuums with a certain batch of turbine heads. Because pieces of plastic can shoot out and cause a laceration hazard. Please click the link for more info.

Another Chinese manufacturing defect! I'm not really supprised.

OMG I had this vacuum and I donated it very quickly. It was my partners when were first met it was loud clumsy and clogged about half way through a real cleaning.

The last dirtdevil recall they had was on the sweeper vac and was ironically issued on my birthday.
