Wow you really do get serious about painting your vacuums, you even painted the bottom!!! SHHHH, don't tell anyone but I skipped the bottom on all of mine because I don't see it very often. Looks nice
Is that white or is it Seal Griege?

I saved this picture from Tom Anderson's collection, because this is my favorite "modern" Hoover...I had a new one when they first debuted in the 70's, then got rid of it when the tool connector clogged from a large matchstick, and I couldn't get it apart. The local Hoover dealer took two months, keeping the vacuum AND the connector. When I got it back, I sold the vacuum to a friend. I regret it to this day. Anyway...here's the picture. It shows only the bumper, but I think the grip is close to the color you have on yours. Good luck.

I wanted to let you know that there is an auction for a Hoover Convertible Lens that will fit your Bicentennial Convertible. Search Vintage hoover in ebay it is starting at 99 cents and there are no bids, I think like 7 or 8 dollars shipping.
