Does anyone know if the Kirby company (or Scott & Fetzer) manufactured a non-electic Vacuette Model A? I have seen numerous pictures of the Model C and its various improvements, even a model B. But, I have yet to see a Model A, though. Any thoughts?

I would assume there was a model A. The thing that I find odd, is I can't tell what the differences are between the various models just by looking. They all seem roughly the same.
Really, I'm not even close to being an expert about these things, but I've been getting there quite rapidly over the past few days.
I have been researching my Sears Kwick Kleen (which can be seen in thread 3947) and have contacted the Kirby company. If I get any info from them that is relevant to you, I'll pass it on.
If you are interested in the Vacuette design, you might want to take a look at my Google Patents thread. There is a fair bit of relevant info that could be of use to you.
