So, what we refer to as Swiveltops GE called Reach Easys?

Oh well, we know what we're referring to, eh? AVC-815...is this the first SwivelEasyReachTop?

Good Lord, the motor is mounted in 'live' rubber - guess it feeds on dirt. :-)

I love my Reach-Easy, and this wonderful ad from YouTube. Dave, did you see my pics I posted of Captain Nelson's Roll-Easy on your other thread? And surely, GE had to have made commercials for the Cord-Reel at some point!

Hey, Alan & Dave

I LOVE the ads you posted, both the 'paper' ad and the film clip ad. Interesting that GE used a GE for the "dufuss" part of the commercial as oppposed to some other, possibly non-descript brand, for comparison to the "New GE Swivel-Top." But I love the nostalgia of it, many thanks for posting that. (My first Swevel-top was the gray one, I now have two versions of the pink/salmon-colored one. I have seen three!)
