well yesterday I finally broke out my vintage lux that I bought on ebay for way to much money and decided to use it. I know it is not the original hose but I kind of like the hose it has it has so much reaching power now. I dont have to drag it around its perfect for cleaning cabinets and the bed and drawers and just about anything I just wanted to share my photos and thoughts. what a great vacuum.

Great to have a good hose that long
really makesthe machine do its job

Nice looking lux
but be careful as the ski's could mar the tile floor?

Great hose - where did you find that? Or did it come with the machine when you bought it?

I have a longer lux hose like that one, I think mine is about 8/9 foot long. It's great on the older lux's so you don't have to drag them to far or much.
I had mine custom made at my favorite vacuum shop. I had the ends and they had the cuffs and hose. Actully they suggest it!

Your Lux looks like exactly what we had when I was a kid. I vacuumed a lot with one of those. They are a real quality machine.
