Hi everybody. I’m having trouble getting the new bumper on the lens cap on my Kirby Classic 1CR anybody have this problem before? And does anybody know how to get it on the cap? Thank you!

First step is to heat up the bumper with a hair dryer, or by soaking it in some hot water. This makes the material pliable. Put a tad of soapy water on the pegs which will lube them enough so you can pull them through from the other side with some needle nose pliers.

What texaskirbyguy said also Dawn is good lubrcant. I'd also try toothpics or back side of a pen pencil to push into holes.
