So this morning I was using WD40 to fix the height adjustment and I happen to found out that the reason the handle is a bit crooked because it has a crack. Anybody know what to do?

If it bugs you, replace it. There is no other way of fixing it.

I believe this one below will solve your problem, but don’t take my word for it. I’m not that much of a Hoover expert.

You could also take a used one from a donor machine.

Must be a rounded handle bail for that particular model.

Try this one, your going to need a rounded handle bail. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0QUESTI...

He’s right. The one I linked is not for the round handle. Scratch that.

Yeah looks like someone got a bit too vigorous with the handle and snapped it in half. It's been botched together with angle brackets.

If it was me, I'd junk that handle and replace the entire thing, it will only cause continual problems over and over again.

If you want to mess around with it though, you can possibly JB-Weld it back together and then use a smaller bracket and bolt system, or preferably a tubular style fitting and remember to be gentle with it.
