Well, I’m quickly seeing the helpful nature of so many people in this group. I wanted to say a quick thank you to all those who’ve helped me (you know who you are).

Just a couple of days ago, I received a message from another member informing me that if I needed any accessories for my D80, that he had many, and what was best is that he lives within 2 hours of me.

Well, turns out that he also had another D80 (metal fan, a few things about it better than mine) and with all accessories (rug renovator, handi-butler, attachments - all green, all in perfect condition in original box, including original owners manual) I couldn’t resist.

He came by today and i tested it out...

Here’s some photos of the machine and it’s attachments, as well as a couple of me using it. I have to apologize for me being in my scrubs, as I work at a Veterinary hospital and was off early, also having a bit of a Chron’s flareup, so as excited as I was and still am, just not feeling too great, so I didn’t bother to change into normal attire...

Box

hmc1981's profile picture
I have the boxes for the Handi-Butler and the Rug Renovator, the box for the attachments I do not have, also, The box for the cleaner itself and I don’t have the Roll O Waxer. If you have those, certainly I’m very very very very interested!

Hey

lesinutah's profile picture
I have 2 or 3 attachment boxes. I may have 2 handi waxer not sure. The only thing Chris I seen you have I don't(I may have but don't think so). The green bumper pads you put under wheels when using handi Butler or attachments. I have only seen blue ones. I recently acquired a Omega all original except they wired a d80 light that is just the bulb. I believe it has all attachments but I'm not positive.
Chris I'll say it again those parts are pristine like there brand new.
Don't lose green strap I have 2 they were gifted to me and there super hard to find. The green hose is also hard to find in good condition.
Kirby needs has a CD with vacuum repair and parts manual from 505 to 560.
I also got exploded diagram that has 505 to sentria.
I suck at structuring sentences. Use a zip brush with hose if you have further on couch it's amazing. If I recall you have d80 heritage sentria 2 sentria and avalir. I assume you have zipper brush. Using zipper brush spool up with motor humming with metal fan is awesome.

The d80 orinal box vacuum came in. I have alot of boxes but I don't think I've ever seen a box vacuum came in. I may own one as I bought everything d80 on eBay. If anyone has a box of what. Vacuum came in I'd love to see it.

Pics

I am posting pics. I think I have original vacuum box. They put rug rennovator accessories and other boxes inside it. I don't have it pictured but the floor waxer came in generic box with brown lettering. I believe it fits inside the vacuum box.
First pic is a green pistol grip it's on like 513 handle that's why it looks funny.
2nd pic is attachment box not all are in box but I have 2 sets.
The third is 2nd pic box closed
Last pic I believe is vacuum box. I got basically everything except handi Butler flex shaft and the platform green pads for wheels when using like handi Butler.

Delay

hmc1981's profile picture
So sorry for my delay in replying, I’ve been a bit under the weather the past few days.

Les, email me with some more pics of what you’ve got.

On the subject... does anyone have the turbo groomer attachments? Those seem very difficult to come across.

Turbo groomer. All in think that is is on flexi shaft would be mini. 1.5 or 2 inch grinder wheel. I'm not even sure it was on d80 earliest might be heritage. I'll send pics. Get feeling better.

Turbo groomer

Yes, the Turbo Groomer was on the Heritage... I was not being clear at all, as I was just rambling on and letting my thoughts spill out randomly.

Hey

lesinutah's profile picture
I sent email. I was going to say heritage had the weirdest attachments jigsaw first turbo brush different than zip brush.
Have you tried zipper brush on d80 yet. I may try to finish up d80 and use zip brush. I was just finishing up royal today and organizing d80 items. The waxer is big clunky thing. I even have was for it. I wonder how that would go 50 year old was. I also have those sausage compound things 2 lol. Ya I emailed you hit me back just to chat your biggest fan this is Stan(Eminem lyrics.

Les, your writing

Is hard to follow. ( I've been reading older postings lately) What does this mean?. " I even have was for it. I wonder how that would go 50 year old was. ".

Doesn't make sense

Hey
Holy cow your not kidding. I had 2 prior posts vanish.
When I tried to reply to you on your commentit wouldn't let me type. I apologise. I will proof read my posts. Looking at my post I have no idea what I was saying. If I was drinking that might justify this but I'm sober. I apologise again. I will now preview this before posting.

I could use a few commas etc. Sorry again.

Cool that you got a dream vac with almost everything they ever came with. My Royal 4650 is still happy thanks to the plugs you sent me and I've been working on and playing with the Compact C9/Sir Anthony James vac my mom got in about 77 she recently gave me. It really helps when members support each other with needed parts and advice.
