I would say around 1967 or 1968. This Eureka still has the top-side hose port in front of its headlight, which means it is from before the arrival of the Rugulator height adjuster which would be located in the same spot. The Rugulator made its debut in 1970. But your Eureka also has the “Vanguard” style motor hood, which made its debut around 1968 or 1967.

Hello! Funny to see my Eureka end up here. I haven't sold anything on ebay in a couple years, and they've really clamped-down on editing auctions once there's a bid. Here's some more pics of the machine, because I can't add them there, or add more details about the machine.

One ebay user was kind enough to point out that the machine does in fact have a height adjuster (didn't know about it or forgot it was ever there, tbh), but I can't change that detail in the auction description. Live and learn!

I really need to get my hands on one of these Eurekas with the rubber cap in the hood. I almost had one, but it was in rough shape, and someone with a severe sense of entitlement greedily grabbed it from me. Looking back I should have put my foot down, but at the time I simply didn't feel like watching a grown-ass man throw a toddler style fit AGAIN (implying its happened before...). The good news is next time I get one that mess won't be around to snatch it!

The height adjustment is on the rear wheel axle. You just move the bar up or down.....

@pr-21 Indeed! There's a little pin that you can swing back and forth, for 2 different height positions. Had no clue! Glad Eureka had something before the generous Rug-u-Lator and excellent Dial-a-Nap.
