I bought that

At a estate sale of a man who had a small vacuum shop, got the attachments and box but not the vacuum, a 512 I think, that kit has shampoo, sweet air and several other things in it.

Thank you Hans!

Unfortunately, that’s not the Eureka I was talking about.. ☹️. But not to worry! I guess I’ll have to come down for a visit at some point to find that odd-shaped canister that caught my eye. Would love to see this gold mine of vacuum history in person one day....

Congratulations on an amazing job!

Hey

The Kirby sweet Aire appeared in 510. The case looks like 513 logo but it could be late 512. I have not seen shampoo that old. I know they had floor polisher I have a early era crystalizer and a 510 handi Butler. Very impressive collection. The old royal round cannister looks interesting and your shelves are full getting a small glance. To think you even downsized. I'm jealous of your room and your collection very nice. Les

I am so sorry Hans. It seems I have been confusing your pictures of your new vacuum space with a set of pics from Ken Wagman’s collection taken by Vacuumlad a few weeks ago. That thread just got a reboot today, and voila....there was that mysterious-looking Eureka canister that I have never seen before

My sincere apologies for sending you on a “wild goose chase” for nothing. :-(

Still look forward to seeing your amazing collection one day!

Regarding the Kirby Deodorizing Kit----

Someone had recently posted on Facebook about this item stating that it was offered until production of the 561 model. My parents owned a 519 model for many years and as far back in childhood as I can remember (now age 58); I have never seen this kit included in it or any 519 that I can recall seeing throughout most of my life. Was this kit purchased separately at repair shops or at Kirby dealerships of that era? I have never even seen this item auctioned on E-Bay.

I have no clue

I got it at the estate sale of a guy who worked in a vac shop for many years. It is genuine kirby
