So once again I’ve been making a lot of new additions to my collection so far this year and this one is probably the best one I got! This is apparently a rare Hoover convertible model that I saw on the supermarket section on this website and this was from Andrew known as Hoover78, and when I saw this I was like I’ve never seen one like this before so I just had to get it, paid it with PayPal and was delivered earlier today! So feast your eyes on this beautiful Hoover!

So here it is after assembling it, this is the Hoover Deluxe Convertible model U4039 made I’d say around 1975-76, this is one of the very last metal base Convertible ever made till they switched it to plastic and this features the Ranger style hood which looks so beautiful! The reason why I think this is rare because this is probably the ONLY Ranger style Convertible with the famous rear tool conversion till they also switch it to front tool conversion. I think this vacuum is a win win!

i saw that offered on Ebay. I 'm not sure, but I might have one, too. I'll have to check. Yes, indeed, one of the very last rear conversions.

actually the last metal...

Convertibles were in the set after this, from 1977, 1978, 1979. Hoover went plastic in 1979. Also in 1976, all the Convertibles still has rear conversion, again, front conversion was not introduced until 1977, along with the new square handle, and couture handle grip and the new type A bag system.

Ouch, my eyes! That is a really intense orange! I have never seen anything like this, maybe other than a fondue pot. haha

Looks cool, would be a good vacuum to use for fall and around Halloween

Mine must be the very close sister to yours. It is a Model 4033, still made in the square-top Convertible style. It's called a Custom Convertible. They loved to throw these names around and constantly change them up.

That's an excellent acquisition you have there! The ranger-style hood is my favorite that was offered on the Convertible.
