I can't decide which one to sell. I have a Dirt Devil Signature Series Hand Vac with a 2 speed GS Electric motor and a Plus Machine with a 3 amp Johnson Motor. Which one should I keep.

Used the Royal Prince, they are better than ANY hand cleaner I think! |

my thoughts exactly unless you really need the money. I like little hand vacs but I like the old metal ones- like the Royal Prince that was mentioned. I use it all the time. mom uses it, the housekeeper uses it...it's very popular around here. my Prince isn't that old-I got mine in the mid 90s

I bought a Model 103 for my Dad as a father's day gift ever since our Dirt Devil Ultra broke and he likes the 103 much better than the Ultra. I was just curious as to which ones last longer since I'm not interested in collecting the hand vacs. |

I hate to be a downer, but don't expect to get much selling either of them. $20 tops if you sell to someone who thinks it is really special.
The most valuable in the bunch, in my opinion, is the "Plus." What makes it valuable is its 3-amp motor. That motor can be directly transplanted into any Dirt Devil Broom Vac. This is a good trick people who own Broom Vacs should be aware of. If you need a new Broom Vac motor, you won't be able to find an original. However, a "Plus" motor is exactly the same and will swap right in! I've done that before with two of my Broom Vacs. |
