Electrolux Model ZB 86 needs a new motor i think .
Bearing and carbon brush looks good im no expert tho , but the THING THAT WORRIES ME is the wiring coil aka flied if you will a wire seems to be loose i attach it on the carbon brush but not sure if i should just replace the field coil or the whole motor ?Seem to run well before i took apart last year but had low suction due to a bad gasket. Now id like to get it up and runnign whit good wires to be on the safe side of things you know ? Pic 3 and 4 motor wires loose |

I concur with @Relhall - Try to fix it first.
Those loose copper leads are from the Field-Coil winding. It appears from your photo as though one end of the copper coil daparts from the windings where I've indicated with an arrow - on the left of the picture. The other end, your loose wires, would just about reach the opposite side, where the second arrow-? indicates. The clue is in their length. They'll only go where they reach (+/- 1mm). Take your time. Photograph as you go. Beware of other leads that may detatch in a similar way. I had the same problem with Field-Coils on vintage fans. The contacts for those thin, frail, copper leads can be quite fragile, but once they're soldered back in place, they're very secure. You might need to extend them 1mm or so to compensate for that break, or undo the winding one complete turn if you can, to give yourself excess length. A dab of clear nail-varnish holds them in place against the other windings when you're done. If you can't determine where they came from, try removing (or at least lowering) the Armature to see if the Terminal(s) are hidden in the inside face of your Field-Coil.
