It was in the low to mid 30's, so I had to dress warmly!

WOW!

Now THAT's the way to scare up sales! Can you imagine the reaction if a sweeper salesman actually went door to door dressed like that! HAHAHA!

very, very nice. did you use a shoulder strap, Jason? did you lug the second upright around as well?

I did use the shoulder strap. I carried the other around also, but it was quite a bit easier than when I went as a salesman years ago, lugging around a Kirby Classic! And besides- this year and last, it was on main street instead of all over the neighborhood! And when I say "dress warmly", that's a definite understatement! It may have been in the 30's outside, but I was pretty toasty! That suit is vinyl, and it doesn't breath! When I got home, I had another pic taken to go on the fan collector forum titled "You don't know the power of the Emerson!"

Awesome! That nice C-series Kirby (or is it an R model?) really adds to the Darth Vader look, IMHO.

the floor model is a C with the headlight, the one that's has the hose and shoulder strap, is model C without or missing the headlight.

I was a Kirby Salesman!

I am afraid I don't have pics to show me dressed up, but I wore a suit and tie, with...a Kirby pin! I carried around a Classic III booklet to show the kids at school about what a Kirby can do! Like the jig-saw, for example. Many kids, surprisingly, were impressed about Kirby's. I actually found out that several kids have seen Kirby's before, and several teachers used to have Kirby's, too! My health teacher had a "brown" Kirby, obviously the 1-CR or the Omega. My band director had a "red" Kirby, which of course is the Classic III. Why did they get rid of it, I don't know...

P.S. I didn't sell a single vacuum; not that I would want to! :-)
